According to information recently published by Business Insider, these are the 20 highest-paying jobs for women in 2017.

#1 General Practice Physician - women physicians are on the rise. Median pay is $173,000/49 percent are women.

#2 General Pediatrician - doctors who specialize in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. Median pay is $152,000/74 percent are women.

#3 Vice President of Marketing
- responsible for a company's overall marketing strategies. Median pay is $123,000/49 percent are women.

#4 Pharmacist - dispenses prescription drugs to patients. Median pay is $119,000/55 percent are women.

#5 Corporate Counsel
